- Soap for Water-Based Coatings
- Mineral Spirits for Oil-Based Coatings
- Scraping Tool
- Spin Tool
- Bucket

Step 1: REMOVE PAINT FROM ROLLERUse a scraping tool to remove excess paint from the roller.

Step 2: WASH ROLLERFor water-based coatings, wash and rinse roller in warm, soapy water. For oil-based coatings, wash and rinse in paint manufacturer’s recommended solvent.

Step 3: REPEAT WASH & RINSERepeat washing and rinsing until the water runs clear.

Step 4: REMOVE EXCESS MOISTUREUse a spin tool or roller frame to spin out any remaining moisture from the roller.

Step 5: DRYStand the roller cover on its end to allow it to dry.
