How to Care for BEHR® CoverPro™ Roller Covers

Suggested Tools & Supplies
  • Soap for Water-Based Coatings
  • Mineral Spirits for Oil-Based Coatings
  • Scraping Tool
  • Spin Tool
  • Bucket
  • Step 1: REMOVE PAINT FROM ROLLER

    Use a scraping tool to remove excess paint from the roller.

  • Step 2: WASH ROLLER

    For water-based coatings, wash and rinse roller in warm, soapy water. For oil-based coatings, wash and rinse in paint manufacturer’s recommended solvent.

  • Step 3: REPEAT WASH & RINSE

    Repeat washing and rinsing until the water runs clear.

  • Step 4: REMOVE EXCESS MOISTURE

    Use a spin tool or roller frame to spin out any remaining moisture from the roller.

  • Step 5: DRY

    Stand the roller cover on its end to allow it to dry.
