Kayla Kratz, Senior Director of Colour & Design Strategy at BEHR Paint Company, serves as the voice and strategic leader advancing BEHR’s long-term colour vision. With more than 17 years of experience in colour strategy, design innovation, and product development, Kayla bridges design aspiration with real-world application across DIY, professional, and A&D segments.

As the lead for BEHR’s colour vision and A&D engagement strategy, Kayla builds the brand’s authority through trend research, market intelligence, and customer insights. She acts as BEHR’s media spokesperson, representing the brand across national media, and develops high-level programs that strengthen the brand’s standing with architects, designers, and consumers.

Kayla’s expertise is grounded in a deep understanding of colour, customer behavior, and market insight, balanced with creativity and analysis to translate colour concepts into practical applications. She’s guided by a core belief that colour is the architect of emotion.

Diana is Colour Marketing’s longest tenured member at Behr. Her talent to accurately see the true hue or value of a colour has positioned her as the team’s lead colour designer and palette builder. In addition to an appreciation for colour, Diana also loves cooking and baking. Amongst her favorite activities are entertaining at home, going on hikes and taking road trips with her three furry friends!

Larayne has been part of Behr Marketing since 1999. Her skills include managing and overseeing product launches, creative input, and developing collateral pieces. With a passion for colour and design she’s a perfect fit for the team. Outside the office, Larayne enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends. She travels often, savours her glass of wine, and appreciates the special moments in life.
