Proper surface preparation is required.

• All surfaces must be clean, sound, dry and free of any dirt, oil and grease.
• Remove mildew stains with a mildew stain removing product.

New or Weathered Wood:

• Use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM^® No. 63 All-In-One Wood Cleaner.  Lightly sand to remove remaining wood fibers/fuzz.

Painted Surfaces:

• For a painted surface in sound condition, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM No. 63 All-In-One Wood Cleaner, to clean and prepare the surface.
• If the coating is failing or peeling, use a paint stripper such as BEHR PREMIUM No. 64 Wood Stain & Finish Stripper, to remove old coating.
• Scuff sand glossy surfaces. Must follow with BEHR PREMIUM No. 63 All-In-One Wood Cleaner.
• Use stainless steel or galvanized nails to prevent nail staining. Countersink nail heads, repair imperfections and sand smooth.
• Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry.

Uncoated Concrete or Masonry Surfaces:

• Allow new surfaces to cure 30 days. Clean and etch surface using a product such as BEHR PREMIUM No. 991 Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Etcher to achieve a textured profile similar to 150 grit sandpaper.

Painted Surfaces-Concrete:

• For a painted surface in sound condition, use a product such as BEHR PREMIUM No. 990 Concrete & Masonry Degreaser & Cleaner to clean and prepare the surface.
• If the coating is failing or peeling, use a paint stripper such as BEHR PREMIUM No. 992 Concrete & Masonry Paint Stripper to remove old coating or scrape/sand down to a sound concrete surface.
• Scuff sand glossy surfaces.
• Clean and spot etch any exposed concrete using a product such as a BEHR PREMIUM No. 991 Concrete & Masonry Cleaner & Etcher.
• Remove all dust with a damp cloth, allow to dry.

ApplicationBlank space if empty.

• Use product when the surface and air temperatures are between 10-32° C. Stir paint occasionally.
• Use a high quality 10-13 mm nap roller cover, nylon/polyester brush or an airless sprayer (.015 - .021" spray tip, 60 mesh filter).
• Spread rate varies depending on the surface texture, porosity and application method. Additional coats may be required to ensure proper coverage, optimal hide and durability.
• Do not thin if using a roller or brush; however, if using a sprayer and thinning is required, thin with water at a rate of no more than 250 mL per 3.79 L.

Dry TimeBlank space if empty.

• Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and in higher humidity.
• Allow 72 hours before subjecting to normal use.
• After 30 days, cured paint film may be cleaned with a mild, non-abrasive liquid detergent.
• Dry paint film is mildew resistant.

DisposalBlank space if empty.

• Properly dispose of all soiled rags.
• For disposal of empty containers and unused product, contact your household refuse collection service.

For one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process Corporation warrants to the original consumer purchaser, (1) that the product meets Behr Process Corporation’s manufacturing specifications, and (2) the performance of this product when applied according to the label instructions and specifications. If this product is found not to perform as specified on the label within one year from the date of purchase, Behr Process Corporation will, at its option and upon presentation of proof-of-purchase (the original receipt), either furnish an equivalent amount of new product or refund the original purchase price of this product to you. The clause of limitation of liability which follows is inapplicable in Québec. This warranty excludes (1) labour and costs of labour for the application or removal of any product, and (2) any incidental or consequential damages, whether based on breach of express or implied warranty, negligence, strict liability or any other legal theory. To the extent permitted by applicable law, any implied warranties including the implied warranties of merchantability and of fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this express warranty. The above provisions are not intended to operate where prohibited by law. This limited warranty is the only warranty provided by Behr Process Corporation unless extended by a provincial consumer statute.
