For Best Results:

Mix the entire quantity of glazing colour needed for the project before you start painting. Combining the contents produces uniformity of colour. This intermixing is called "boxing."

  1. Step 1

Paint the base colour and allow it to dry completely before glazing.

  2. Step 2

To prepare your topcoat glaze colour, pour 1 part PREMIUM PLUS® Paint (0.95L) and 4 parts FAUX GLAZE (3.79L) into a bucket and mix the contents thoroughly. For a more see-through or transparent look, add extra faux glaze to the mixture. For a denser or more opaque glaze colour, add more paint to the mixture. The mixture will generally cover approximately 37 sq. m.

  3. Step 3

Pour your colour glaze mixture into a paint tray and work a 15 cm mini roller into the glaze until it is fully loaded. To remove excess glaze, roll the tool on the ribbed area of the paint tray.

  4. Step 4

Starting at a top corner of your project area, roll the coloured glaze onto a 91 x 91 cm section.

  5. Step 5

Work in small square sections of about 15 x 15 cm. First, drag the whisk broom down a 15 cm length and then drag it across a 15 cm width. Then, stop.

  6. Step 6

While the glaze is wet, continue to the next 15 x 15 cm section. Repeat the process of dragging the whisk broom down and then across until the 91 x 91 cm section is complete.

  7. Step 7

Move to the right and repeat the process again. Overlap and blend each section to avoid hard edges.

  8. Step 8

Continue these steps until the project is complete.
